Izzy and Jack Handmade Jewelry was created by jewelry designer Jennifer Capozziello.
I had been wanting to learn how to make jewelry for some time, but never found the time to go to a class.
Being the daughter of an artist, I was sure I did not inherit any artistic abilities based on art projects throughout the years.
But, after learning how to make jewelry, I finally found my artsy side.
At the end of 2005, I finally bought a bead magazine and a beginner's bead kit and started to teach myself how to make jewelry.
Now, I am completely fascinated in the art of creating beautiful jewelry.
I am continually reading bead articles, and would like to take some jewelry classes to further my teaching and creativity.
I get inspiration for projects from everything around me: clothing, magazines, art, fabric, nature.
The "Izzy and Jack" name came to me early on, and I have been using that name for over a year.
(For those wondering where the name came from, I named my company after my children, although these are not their actual names.)
I have been selling my jewelry pieces at Wildflower, in Evansville, for a year and a half. Through this connection, one of my rings was
photographed in the Evansville Living Magazine July/August 2007 issue.
